G-BOC98 had been successfully concluded attended by 600 business
and government leaders from 29 economies overseas, as well as
19,600 representatives of about 2,500 Japanese companies. As
in the past conventions, G-BOC98 has produced fruitful results,
highly evaluated by participants from both overseas and Japan,
by its incomparable services in arranging individual one-to-one
meetings for business talks.
Major Programs of G-BOC98
- Individual Business Talks --- Business
Matching by prearrangement
To provide opportunities for efficient and fruitful business
talks, the G-BOC Secretariat made prior arrangements for talks
between overseas participants and potential business partners
in Japan after considering individual requests and needs.
The Individual Business Talks covered a wide range of subjects
including export/import, business/technical tie-ups, joint
ventures, and investment in many fields of industries.
- National and Regional Promotion Seminars
National and Regional Promotion Seminars provided opportunities
for representatives of governments and economic organizations
to promote their country's or region's economy, investment
environments, and present the latest business related information
to Japanese companies and other overseas participants.
- Access to the Japanese Market Seminar
At Access to the Japanese Market Seminar, trade specialists
gave specific guidance for entering into the Japanese market
from professional viewpoints.
- International Investment Promotion
Plaza (Special Program for G-BOC98)
International Investment Promotion Plaza was held for the
purpose of bringing together the latest information on investment
environments from around the world, presented by PR booths-based
agencies or organizations from various regions of the world,
to widely promote international investments.
