G-BOC2000 had been successfully concluded, attended by 544 business and government leaders from 32 countries and regions as well as 10,500 representatives of about 2,500 Japanese companies. As in the past conventions, G-BOC2000 has produced fruitful results, highly evaluated by participants from both overseas and Japan, by its incomparable services in arranging individual one-to-one meetings for business talks.

Major Programs of G-BOC2000
(1) Individual Business Talks --- Business Matching by Pre-arrangement
To provide opportunities for efficient and fruitful business talks, the G-BOC Secretariat made prior arrangements for talks between overseas participants and potential business partners in Japan after considering their individual requests and needs.
The Individual Business Talks covered a wide range of subjects including export/import, business/technical tie-ups, joint ventures, and investment in many fields of industries.

(2) National and Regional Promotion Seminars

National and Regional Promotion Seminars provide opportunities for representatives of governments and economic organizations to promote their country's or region's economy, investment environments, and presented the latest business related information to Japanese companies and other overseas participants.

(3) Access to the Japanese Market Seminar

At the Access to the Japanese Market Seminar, trade specialists gave specific guidance for entering into the Japanese market from professional viewpoints.

(4) FAZ Information Booth

At the Foreign Access Zones (FAZ) Information Booth, brochures on the FAZ areas were provided. Free access to each FAZ web-sites on the Internet was also available.

(5) 'Virtual Business Meetings' Support Plaza (Special Program for G-BOC2000)

'Virtual Business Meeting' Support Plaza was held as a special program, under the situation of the rapidly advancing IT revolution, to bring together the companies capable of introducing state-of-the-art technologies and software/hardware, aiming to provide assistance especially with small and medium size companies to conduct international business via internet.
