Major Programs
G- BOC consists of a great variety of programs to meet diverse needs of participants, supported by the three main pillars of (1)Individual Business Talks,(2)National and Regional Promotion Seminars, and (3)Virtual Business Talks
(1)Individual Business
To provide opportunities for efficient and fruitful business talks, the G-BOC Secretariat made prior arrangements for talks between overseas participants and potential business partners in Japan after considering individual requests and needs.
The Individual Business Talks covered a wide range of subjects including export/import, business/technical tie- ups, joint ventures, and investment in many fields of industries.
(2)Various Seminars[National and Regional Promotion Seminars]
At this program, government and business leaders from around the world (10 countries at G-BOC 2002)offer the latest business information on their respective economic conditions and business environments, making it possible for participants to gain fresh, firsthand information on all these countries, without going abroad.
Every year this program is attended,as speakers,by overseas cabinet ministers and deputy ministers or those in similar capacity, giving great opportunities for expansion of networks among such overseas VIPs and Japanese enterprises.
(3)Virtual Business Talks
This virtual 3-D exhibition hall on the internet has made it possible for exhibiting companies and organizations (both overseas and Japanese)to introduce their products, services and technologies through their virtual booth and exchange information or have actual business talks on the NET.
Using this program,it is unnecessary for overseas companies to travel all the way to Japan or vice versa, which makes it much easier for overseas companies to participate. In addition, the secretariat will help search for Japanese companies that show interest in doing business with the overseas exhibitors OFFLINE and offer the list of those companies on the internet. This program is ideal as the first step to enter into the Japanese market.(For Japanese companies, the secretariat have introduced only Chinese companies OFFLINE.)
